Lost words!: Ok Andrew I really like this with landscape elements ~~~ but for some reason i wanted to see it up the other way and wow the sea the waves, maybe they are trying to reach your fear. I do not think this one can be tamed!!
Went something like that I do love it shame your not exhibiting it would like to see the full colour which is often different in here. an the untamed sea mmm,,,,,,,,,, I do keep looking at it "This way" too!!!

Thank you Liz. In fact, Thank you twice!

A word of explanation:
I posted the wrong jpeg for this post and in my effort to replace it, I lost your comment (and @ivangrebe's favoriting!). Posterous were unable to help with this, so i had to repost.

I really like your comment, since it is so obviously honest. You could well be right about an 'untamed sea'. This painting has been many paintings ~ started out as a 'Turner landscape'....then a 'Tribute to Turner'....then a monster several times!

It could still be unfinished, as a painting is only finished, when it matches where I am at this moment ~ and I am definitely unfinished!
Perhaps a better title would be 'work in progress' ?

Lovely Piece Andrew, and as a passionate landscape lover, I question why would anyone ever want to shrug at the landscape?! :)

So this happens when you don't create a landscape :)

I like this painting very much. It says: "Hey eye! I'm mixed media on canvas! Why do you create a landscape out of me?"

And the eye says: "Because I do. And because of those white clouds up there. Or is it the surf of the sea?"

And Andrew says: "This dialogue is just imagination. The eye and the painting are one."

So be it.

You have stepped outside yourself, and into us, viewing your world over the block wall, as we do, on tip toe, curious.... Beautiful!

Thank you Andrew for this painting and for inspiring all the comments which are thought provocing, feels like it is inspiring new chapters that may not reach their finish, maybe we are all seeing a bit of the "us" in here it is very moving. There is a real focusing that for me takes me to the central energy: either way up!
