...usually thoughts are continuous...as clouds scudding across the sky...sometimes there is no blue at all, just constant, untrammelled thought. And on very rare occasions there is no thought, just an innocent 'looking'...into the infinite blue. At these moments of emptiness, there is nothing to be grasped by the senses. In emptiness, how can the mind function? It stops, it disappears. In the disappearance of the mind, the mind that is tense, worried, filled with thoughts that are relevant, irrelevant ~ in that disappearance of the mind...the serenity! OSHO
